Royal River Books is excited to provide customers with more options for buying books. The neighborhood bookstore, based in Yarmouth, ME, has recently added an online store for ordering books, CDs, DVDs and gift items.

Orders can be placed using the Royal River Books website, www.royalriverbooks.com. The products will be shipped from the Baker & Taylor warehouse. This is the same warehouse that ships books to Royal River Books. All of the sales are processed through the Royal River Books account at Baker & Taylor.
What can I buy in the online store?
We are excited to offer all of the books, CDs, DVDs and gift items that are available to us from Baker & Taylor. You can also pre-order titles that have not been released yet. Ordering online is similar to doing a special order in the store, except the products will be shipped directly to your shipping address instead of being shipped to the store.
Are the books and other items discounted in the online store?
In order to stay competitive with other online sites we are using a dynamic discount model for all items. Just like Amazon, the discount varies. In some cases, users will find items priced lower than the competition.
What is the shipping cost?
We offer a flat rate of 99 cents per item. This is much cheaper than Amazon if your total order is less than $35.
Can I use Royal River Books gift cards, store credits and coupons when shopping online?
We will be offering different promotions for the online store since the online store has a different pricing structure. Gift cards, coupons and store credits that were generated in the retail store can only be redeemed at the retail store (355 Main Street, Yarmouth, ME).
