Meet Carole

Reading has always been a great passion and pleasure so working in a bookstore is a dream job to Carole. One of Carole's earliest memories is at an elementary school book fair begging her mom to buy her loads of books and then hiding behind her dad's chair and reading them for hours.  

Carole is originally from Darien, CT, got her bachelors degree from Boston College and a masters degree from Tufts University.  On her way to working at Royal River Books she worked as an Occupational Therapist until she became a stay at home mom living in Yarmouth. Carole is a mother to three wonderful kids named Connor, Shannon and Tommy. She and her husband Jim have just become empty nesters upon their youngest sons graduation from Yarmouth high school this spring.  Working at Royal River Books fulfills Carole's dream of working in a bookstore, appeals to her love of organizing and let's her order books all day long, what could be better!
